How Lawyers Can Play Ball with Sports / Business Journalists

February 25, 2016 - 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Tom Brady … Alex Rodriguez … FIFA … Fantasy Football … the Rams move back to L.A.

Sports news is no longer just for the Sports Section. It’s front page news with significant legal aspects across a wide range of practice areas: litigation, labor, intellectual property, finance, M&A, tax, etc.

We have assembled an all-star panel of journalists who cover the business and legal side of sports to let us know how you and your lawyers can help them with their reporting:

  • Daniel Kaplan – Sports Business Daily
  • T.J. Quinn - ESPN
  • Michael O’Keeffe – New York Daily News
  • Zachary Zagger – Law360

This session is not solely about sports law or sports lawyers but rather primarily on the many different legal elements of the world of sports.

We'll kick off the meeting at 6:30 with a light dinner and networking. The leadoff hitter on the panel will step up at 7:30 with the final buzzer sounding at 8:30.
