Joshua M.
Peck is the Senior Manager of Media Relations for Duane
Morris LLP. He oversees the firm's strategic public relations program,
creating and executing initiatives that build awareness of the firm in
local, regional and national media. He has built his international
reputation through his nationally recognized work with the media
(Legal PR Awards, 2004). He has spoken in London and Quebec on legal
media relations and speaks frequently to U.S. industry groups.
Peck came to Duane Morris in 2004 after holding the Chief Marketing
Officer position at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, prior to which he served as
international Director of Media Relations for Kirkland & Ellis.
He has more than 24 years of combined corporate communications,
writing, and public and media relations experience, including press
relations with various levels of government. A former political press
secretary and state lobbyist in Albany, N.Y., Peck is active in the
2006 political season, consulting with a candidate in Pennsylvania.
In the 1980s, Joshua was a journalist with the Newhouse newspapers in
Michigan, and with the Gannett Newspapers in Westchester County, NY,
where he won several reporting awards.
