Elyse Blazey is the Public Relations Manager at SNR Denton
LLP, an international legal practice with 48 locations in 32
countries across four continents. Elyse oversees and manages the
public relations department for the firm.
Before joining SNR Denton, Elyse was the Communications Manager at
Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where she oversaw and managed
the external and internal communications program for the East Coast
and European offices. Prior to Orrick, Elyse was the Public
Relations Strategist for Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. At Stroock,
she established and ran the firm’s public relations department.
Previously, Elyse was an Account Supervisor at Makovsky & Company, a
public relations and investor relations firm, where she worked with
the financial/professional services and investor relations practice
groups. At Makovsky, she counseled C-level management on everything
from day-to-day media to IPO’s and crisis situations. Her client
list has included: National Financial Partners, General Motors Asset
Management, Sony Electronics, AFC Enterprises, Katzenbach Partners
and Russell Reynolds Associates.
Elyse was selected as one of the “Top Five Young PR Professionals”
by PR Week in 2001, and is also the recipient of various media
awards including PRSA’s Silver Anvil, NY/IABC Award and Sabre Award.
Elyse graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of
Public Communications at Syracuse University. |
